Will County Jury Returns Verdict In Excess of $600,000

January 3, 2016

A Will County jury returned a verdict in excess of $600,000 in a personal injury case tried by Spesia & Taylor partner John Spesia. The client, a 40-year old computer analyst, was injured when a limousine driver failed to yield when making a left-hand turn causing a significant automobile accident. As a result of the crash, Spesia & Taylor’ client sustained a fractured ulna and radius which were repaired by a surgical operation during which permanent plates and screws were inserted to stabilize the bones. The case, presented to a Will County jury, included over $90,000 in medical bills and approximately $3,000 in lost wages.
