On October 25, 2018, the Foundation hosted its annual Grant Award Reception. One of the grant recipients at the reception was the Boys and Girls Club of Joliet. The Club provides local children with a safe place to learn and grow in community, as well as an opportunity to develop ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals. The Specific grant awarded will help fund a Boy Scout troop at the Club.

John Spesia is a past president of the Boys and Girls Club. Christian Spesia is presently the Foundation’s Board Secretary and serves on the Foundation’s grants committee. Spesia & Taylor is a long-time supporter of and contributor to both the Club and the Foundation.
