The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Greater Illinois Chapter

Each year, Spesia & Taylor sponsor and attend the Joliet Great Strides Walks in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Team Ben.  Ben and his family are local residents that contribute to the CF Foundation’s mission to help fund the cure for CF. Spesia & Taylor Attorneys and staff are committed to supporting this goal, and have sponsored the walk for 3 years and counting.  Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. More than 10 million Americans are unknowing, symptomless carriers of a defective CF gene.  The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit donor-supported organization, is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.  Thanks to events like the Joliet Great Strides Walks, the CF foundation will have the support it needs to continue research for a CF cure.
