Spesia & Taylor congratulates partner John Spesia on his recent nomination and selection for membership as one of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators. The selection committee for the group identifies and highlights the accomplishments of the nation’s most esteemed and skilled litigators in high stakes legal matters. In order to be considered for selection, an attorney must first have litigated a matter with at least $2,000,000 in damages at stake.
Once qualified and nominated, the group’s selection committee utilizes a comprehensive, multi-phase selection process to cull the list of all qualifying attorneys in each state and ensure that only the most skilled and exceptional attorneys in the community are selected for membership. At the end of this selection process, the chosen attorneys receive the honor of membership among America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators®.
John concentrates his practice on personal injury and eminent domain litigation and has tried numerous cases throughout the State of Illinois and even in the State of California.
He has also argued numerous matters in the Illinois Appellate Courts and has appeared before the Illinois Supreme Court in two landmark cases. John was nominated and selected for membership in America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators in 2017.
