In response to policy statements from the Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and from State Attorneys General across the country, local municipalities determined that alternative nicotine and vapor products pose a threat to the general health and welfare that is especially attractive to children and that encourages children to use tobacco in the future. In an effort to curb the spread and effect of these dangerous products, the Attorneys Chris Spesia and Michael Santschi from the law offices of Spesia & Taylor helped local municipalities expand their smoke free policies and amend their zoning ordinances. The amendments are expected to provide a safe environment for children and adults alike, in which no one will be subjected to vapor byproducts in public places.
