Partner Chris Spesia recently represented a Firm client in the purchase an approximately 7-acre site in a Joliet Business Park for the construction of an 80,000 square foot distribution facility. Spesia & Taylor had previously established a limited liability company (“LLC”) for the client, and had prepared a lease between the LLC and the business entity that will occupy the building.
The project included the securing of over $500,000.00 in financial incentives from the City of Joliet and other local taxing districts. Spesia also negotiated a Design-Build Contract with the builder. According to Spesia “the Project will enable the client to double its existing distribution facility, which will ensure that the family business can remain successful for many years to come.”
