Spesia & Taylor help provide food to local families in need at Mobile Food Pantry event

By: Michael A. Santschi

On September 28, 2018, Spesia & Taylor Attorneys and Staff helped the Northern Illinois Food Panty and the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic distribute nutritious food to local families in need.

Spesia & Taylor’s staff provided the food with service and a smile!

The Mobile Food Pantry event was hosted by the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic in Joliet, and over the course of about two hours 99 families with more than 380 family members were served.

Spesia & Taylor participants included Partners Christian Spesia and Mike Stiff; Associate attorneys Michael Santschi and Jonathan Powell; staff members Kathy Drzik, Amy Cullen, Becky Bright, Kristen Piper, and Wendy Dent; and Mary Spesia.

According to Spesia & Taylor associate attorney Jonathan Powell: “I really enjoy every opportunity to help those in need throughout the community and the Mobile Food Pantry allows you to go straight to where the need is greatest. I’ll definitely be back and I hope that the program is wildly successful.”

If you would like to serve needy families at a mobile food pantry event, the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s calendar of events can be found here.
